ARIES

Applied Research in Environmental Sciences Nonprofit, Inc. received its non profit status in 2008 as a 501(c)3. The goal was to make diverse research, development, and long term maintenance of programs and products with an applied approach which includes relevant stakeholders, such as local or regional agencies, organizations, and government, which provide support (e.g., cost share and grant partners) and input during all project phases. With a mission that integrates research, student education, and community engagement for transdisciplinary projects, most funding is based on donations, small grants, and cost share with community groups for planning, development, implementation, and any long term mainternance.
