Applied Research in Environmental Sciences Nonprofit, Inc.

Applied Research in Environmental Sciences NonProfit, Inc. (ARIES) is a 501(c)(3) organized and operated for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes. ARIES is a research association in which multidisciplinary/interdisciplinary projects are emphasized. Projects are developed with integrated teams of varied but relevant disciplines. Collaboration with other organizations, academic institutions, and corporations are pursued to benefit the projects.

We continuously seek partners who have a similar mission and vision as ARIES. They must understand the value of integrated teams with their research efforts and sharing information to benefit community service, whether it is educational programs, sustainable tourism, risk assessments or resource management. Based on risk assessments since 2008 from Emergency Managers (EM) within Tribal Inclusive Geographic Areas (TIGA),  the RECOOP team organized in 2013.  The team developed  a behavior economics survey to understand and assist decision making across  TIGA jurisdictions, organizations, and corporations. Initial funds derived from DHS CREATE through the Working Together for a Safer Tommorrow Program.
